While they can be intense, we do not have a fear factor built into our games.* The games are filled with fun and wonder and are designed for the whole family. Nothing jumps out at you and you are free to leave a room at any time. A room may be dark and have dramatic and cinematic music playing, so young children may be slightly nervous, but we do everything we can as a staff to support and encourage the kiddos. We want them to know that they really will have a great time and that there is nothing to be afraid of!
*In REVENGE, players begin the game handcuffed and blindfolded by their abductor. Younger children may not be well suited to play this game, but if you believe they can handle it, they may play. With that in mind, none of our games are scary and claustrophobia has never been an issue. We want to ensure you are informed and at ease!
We strongly recommended that you book online prior to making a trip to Escape Code. Rooms can fill up hours or even days in advance, so secure your preferred spot as soon as possible! If you are in the area and want to stop by to see if we have immediate availability, you are more than welcome to do so.
No. Please keep in mind that the game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed, refunds or cancellations are not allowed. You may reschedule your game at any time prior to 7 days before your reservation. Games may not be rescheduled within one week of your reservation.
It's essential that you arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of your game. Your briefing begins prior to your scheduled game, so don't be late!
You may be paired with other players. However, if you purchase at least FIVE tickets in an EMPTY room, the reservation will become private and your group will play alone. Keep in mind, if you book five or more in a room that already has other players, the room will remain open unless the maximum capacity is met. Rest assured that whether you play on your own or with new friends, you will have an amazing adventure!
Kids have a blast at Escape Code! Their spirit of adventure will help the team find clues and give input on puzzles. While they won't be able to conquer the whole room without your help, you are all sure to have a great time working together.
Keep in mind that you will need to keep your eye on toddlers to ensure they don't interact with (break!) our props.
Children under the age of 14 are required to have an adult aged 18 or over in the game room with them. Children aged 15-17 are required to have an adult aged 18 or over on site, but are not required to play the game with them.
People are occasionally concerned about being locked in a room. You have nothing to worry about at Escape Code as we do not lock our doors and you are free to leave the room at any time if necessary. People who are initially hesitant to play commonly report back that they had the time of their lives!
The cost to play is $27 per person.
You will pay at the time of booking your room.
Plan on spending about 90 minutes at Escape Code. The game itself lasts one hour and the briefing, debriefing and pictures take approximately 30 minutes.
Your sense of adventure and problem solving savvy! You can wear whatever is most comfortable. If you require reading glasses, you should probably bring them along. You will be squatting down, looking under items and investigating objects throughout the room.
Yes! All of our rooms are handicap accessible. Every member of your team will be able to participate and have a great time. We have enjoyed hosting guests with wheelchairs, service animals and other forms of assistance. With that in mind, Revenge is our smallest game room and may be challenging to maneuver with wheelchairs. It is accessible but it will be quite tight. It's your call!
